My wife bought me this for Christmas as I wanted to experiment with 4K video and still have interchangeable lenses.I'd been researching cameras for a while, and whilst the specs all check the right boxes, I'd noticed glaring problems in previous reviews. Seeing Yi's response to these issues and requests in their firmware updates, I was happy enough to put it on my Christmas list. The kit lens is capable in good light, but very slow. It makes the camera go up to ISO 3200 and in photos that look passable on the display, they become incredibly noisy when editing them. But the 50mm f1.7 lens that I have on my Sony a55 has spoiled me for low light. For something that doesn't have a flash, it was a disappointment. The body is very good though, there are complaints of it being plastic, but it's a good quality, it's much smaller than my a55, the video is great - much better than the Sony. One disappointment is that the hooks for the strap make a lot of noise, for a moment when I picked it up I thought something was rattling inside. It was just the strap hooks though.I'm probably going to get a Panasonic or Olympus 14 or 20mm f1.8 lens for some better optics.
